I think it is early 30s not 40s. And she is holding a Christmas pie. So any Darwell movie with a Christmas scene are likely candidates. But of course with all those obscure titles, which movie is it?

I checked BRIGHT EYES which takes place during Christmas. But Darwell has no scenes in the film wearing that outfit.

i looked at it, too. I just look for the leading lady and second lead if there is one and didn't see that one. None of the others with Christmas as a key word looked likely to me.

Jean Rogers. Pretty sure the EBAY pic hails from TIME OUT FOR MURDER, which I've seen. But it could also be from INSIDE STORY, which I haven't.
